Itinerary description

Very scenic trail with lots photo spots; on clear days like this time, you can see all the major mountains, e.g. Fuji-san, Minami-Alps, Yatsugatake and Kita-Alps. The hut was really cosy with excellent food, the best I ever had in a hut in such a remote area. They really cook (no instant food) and it tastes very well - highly recommended! But you should reserve in advance as it's booked out easily on holidays. They just have space for max. 41 people. The trail is very easy to follow but can be steep at some spots where there are also chains for support. But it's doable for normal hikers I think.
