[ENGLISH] [See below for the Spanish version]
Ascent to Kilimanjaro by the route Lemosho in 8 days, distributed in 9 stages (6 stages of approach, 1 stage of attack to the top, 2 of descent), with a total of 67.05 kms of route and 9857m of accumulated altitude (4635m of ascent and 5222m of descent).
Final descent route from Mweka Camp (3070msnm) to Mweka Gate (1640msnm). Day of completion and celebration of the goal accomplished, it is a decrease between mild to moderate (-5% to -15%) whose only complication lies in muddy slopes, which are quite slippery. It is a day of gentle hiking, entirely through the rainforest, in which you can enjoy the mild temperature and the beautiful vegetation that accompanies us. It is worth stopping to contemplate and photograph the innumerable shrub and floral species that are observed, many of which are endemic to Kilimanjaro. The road is wide and well laid out, and becomes a track suitable for vehicles starting at pk 7.3, evacuation point to which the ambulance can reach. Once we arrived at Mweka Gate and, after the mandatory "finish" photos and the record in the official book kept by the rangers of the natural park, the celebration takes place with our magnificent team, improvised ceremony with a brief speech of gratitude, tips and the inevitable song of Kilimanjaro with his well-known stanza of "hakuna matata".
