Itinerary description
Day 2 hike, Elevation increasing though still no effects. Landscape changed from bracken fern and similar to a more sparse vegetation. Day 2 campsite very rocky.

If the weather is clear there are great views of Mawenzi, Uhuru and the Kenyan plains to the north. Lunch taken at Kikelewa caves then move onto rocky camp. No altitude effects yet.
