Great you made it through! The 2nd day is here!
Just after leaving Machame you will start your steep ascent outside the rain forest. You will be starting a whole new adventure... The nature will start to change and we had the chance to enjoy a nice weather... We even were able to spot some perfect shots of Mount Meru. The whole hike will be an ascent of around 1000m+ before getting the chance to go down (almost 200m) to your Shira camp. Even though it will be one of the shortest hikes... But don't underestimate it, be strong, ready, breath deeply and Pole Pole!
