Itinerary description

From Barranco Camp you first have to climb the Barranco Wall, a relatively steep rock face with some easy climbing passages. At the climbing sites then the untrained tourists and the carriers with their nonsensical bulky luggage. At the top of the Barranco Wall peak, most take a short rest, then go downhill, through a wide valley and over another ridge into the Karanga Valley. There grow beautiful creepers in the otherwise pretty carcass lava landscape at the creek. After a last climb you get to the Karanga Camp.
