On the 3rd day we climbed up to the Lava Tower Camp. The bearers bowed slightly earlier and thus saved the last 100 meters of altitude. Shortly before the lava tower Camp gabs then again the notorious lunch, this time fries from fresh potatoes in scarcely 4500m height. Anyone who has tried this, probably the least, will find that even after an hour in the boiling oil, the potatoes are not cooked.
Shortly before the Lava Tower Camp I climbed up the Lava Tower again. This is a distinctive rock with some climbing inlays. The lava rock is very rough and therefore very grippy.
Then we went down from the Lava Tower Camp to Baranco Camp at 4000m.
