Goes on a well-developed path in the forest mostly up a ridge. Even if it rains, the water should flow well into the mountainsides. In between, lunch is served in the middle of the forest. It seems pretty stupid when the porters and tour caravans pass in the meantime. Every kilometer there is a bush toilet! That's how the minefields along the wayside are limited.
After all, every day on every leg of the Machame Route (Whiskey Route) 100-200 tourists and 400-1000 companions are on the way!
The Machame camp is located just below 3000m. The untrained and untrained have a headache. Thanks to good altitude preparation, the whole tour was perfect for me.
