Itinerary description
This trail goes deep into a huge alpine canyon. It climbs slowly, so most of the time it travels under the treeline. Only after 9.000 feet the trees open up to show the impressive mountains.
The section that leads to Moose Lake is well traveled, but the rest of the trail is rough, rocky, and blocked by deadfall. And that is the maintained section. At the top there are rocks and avalanche debris.
