Beautiful route. B&B in Waterville and from there taken by car to Mastergeehy. Done because otherwise the route is almost 30 km, we think it is too far for a walk. Good thing too, is a tough walk. Fortunately a dry day but with wind force 5.6. After a nice 1st 5km the climb of 4km started. Pooh that was tough because of the wind, no good trails and swampy area. There was nowhere to hide, the wind blew hard across the plain. Even dare to steal that if it also rains it will be a very tough journey. Because of the wind we didn't do the last climb (after crossing an asphalt road), we cut off about 2km and took a part of the asphalt road. (is approx. After walking for 9 km) And there we picked up the route again to Cahersiveen. It is a very nice walk. Last km not followed Kerry way but route to the B&B.
