Without hesitation the hardest day, almost twelve hours without stopping, as someone said "I did not feel my legs", the day was still very good, with sun, but the mud, the meadows with water lagoons in the middle of the road made everything was very slow.
The first part of the day was a constant trying not to fill the boots with mud and a continuous change of direction, we went through many small farms.
The central part of the day was a continuous climb down the Knocknadobar ridge, on many occasions at times the road did not exist, I had to climb rocks, and a wind that knocked me down the whole ridge, thankfully the sun was still .
When I reach the summit of the Knocknadobar, I take 15 km and 7 hours. and a half walk, it is 15:30, by my calculations I know that today I am going to be late and possibly at night, I still had 16 km left, as the road improved and almost everything was already downhill thought that I could make up time.
It is six in the afternoon, I still have about 7 km. and I have to decide, to take the last part another continuous uphill or to take a secondary road all flat until I get to Waterville, guess which one I took.
At 20:15 he was arriving at the hostel of "Silver Sands. With a good shower, food and an Irish beer my body was toned.
