Itinerary description
Start at the car park of Hveradalir, then hike down to Hveradalir, then follow the unmarked trail from the eastern side of Fannborg. You have to cross one river close to Hveradalir, then ascent steadily to Fannborg. At one point you will reach the intersection with marked trail (or at least supposed to be marked trail, but you can see trodden steps there).
We went end of July and still lot of snow. Take hiking poles, not the easiest hike. Came back via marked trail west of Fannborg to another car park.
