Itinerary description

We started this second day very early to be able to arrive in time to catch the bus at Rainbow Ranch at 2:00 pm that will take us to Te Anau and continue to Invercarguil. We woke up at 6 at the Irishburn shelter when almost everyone was still sleeping and after breakfast we began the route. On this second day we had a cloudier day with some drizzles and it is a route with few unevenness that runs almost all the time through a forest area and along the bottom or edge of the valley. Some sections were a little waterlogged due to the rain the night before.

After walking for a few hours through the forest, we reached Lake Manapouri, walking close to its shore, until we reached Moturau Hut, where we had lunch and rested for a while before continuing until we reached Rainbow ranch with time to spare.

Pensaba que esa ruta eran más días.
Hola Paco DV, la ruta se hace en 4 días aunque nosotros evitamos los 4 primeros y los últimos 9 kilómetros que no van por medio del bosque y nos metimos un buen trote el primer día que nos permitió hacerlo en 2 días. Graacias.
