Itinerary description
Nice trail climbing to Kendall katwalk - a blasted section on top of the ridge - with nice views. The trail follows the PCT from Snoqualmie pass and climbs steadily to the top of the ridge. Pikas can be seen along the hike, especially when coming out of the forest, before reaching the katwalk, also nice views of Rainier there. Continuing 2.5km beyond the katwalk leads to two nice lakes (Gravel and Ridge) and Alska lake can be glimpsed in the forest below. The katwalk itself is pretty wide and I didn't find any thing technical or dangerous about this section.
