Kenatsblur mountain I Gegharkunik I Armenia

Kenatsblur mountain ( Կենացբլուր լեռ) with the height of 2428 m is the highest summit of the Kenatsblur mountains ( Կենացբլուրի լեռներ ), near Kalavan village ( Կալավան ), in Gegharkunik region, Armenia.
The mountain is а beautiful point to overlook the Miapor mountains ( Makaghakar, Ishkhanats and Miapor peaks) and the Areguni mountain range ( Միափորի լեռներ, Արեգունու լեռներ).

As Kalavan is а an eco village with nice guesthouses and a crossing point for both Armenian National Trail and Transcaucasian Trail in Armenia, this mountain is a good option for all the hikers who want to hike peaks nearby besides the trails.

--- Kenatsblur mountain is full of vegetation which makes the hike more challenging as there is no path heading to the summit.

--- First km of the trail you hike following blazed route from Kalavan to Drakhtik, then you turn off trail to the mountain.

--- There I found 2 ways leading from Kalavan:
▸First one leads right to the slopes of the mountain and joins an old jeep trek making a round traverse through the mountain.
▸The second one ( the one I've uploaded here ) heads by a jeep trek close to the mountain, then reaches the summit from higher point.
Summit push segment for both options is the same, you just head to the peak avoiding rocks and steep slopes.

--- I've chosen the second one as jeep trek here was easy to follow and not overgrown + here you have advantage to pass this part with the help of 4x4 vehicle as well.

SEASON

Kenatsblur is a mountain peak with few high hills around, so it's usually windy up there.
▶Doable:
Season starts from mid April till December. Winter period is normally snowy here.
▶Recommended:
From mid May, June, July - green, October colorful, not very hot
