Itinerary description

Not a bad walk from the Kefelos Venetian bridge to the small village of Kaminaria and back.

This route takes you along forest tracks and quiet tarmac roads. Quite hilly in places, especially the first mile. Your efforts will be rewarded with some great views.

A lot of this route is on very quiet tarmac roads. The village at half way is very peaceful and the tavern may or may not be open. It was closed when we were there :-(

The bridges themselves are stunning and well worth seeing. There was even an ice cream van at the final bridge, which was a welcome sight!

This walk was fairly shady but, as on a lot of Cypriot forest walks, there was no water on the route, so carry plenty with you.

All in all, an enjoyable walk but a bit too much tarmac for my liking.
