Itinerary description

The start is crossing The De Bosset Bridge (formerly Drapano Bridge) which claims to be the largest stone bridge across a causeway. Once on the other side you pass the British Cemetery and then pass round another large local cemetery and off into a climb with spectacular views of Argostoli. Then some lovely remote and well signposted trails lead to the awesome Cyclopean Walls of Ancient Krani. Definitely one of the wonders of this Island that not many people know about and you have marvel how they got here in 5/6 century BC.
I would highly recommend good walking or hiking boots as this part is quite challenging.
You eventually come down to the ancient city which boasts more spectacular monuments.
After another short climb you descend to the civilisation of the outskirts of Argostoli as you follow the trail along the Koutavos Lagoon bringing you back to the start.
