This Hike is my completion of unfinished business hike.
About a year ago, while exploration hiking with Adventure Extreme group to reach the 1200 summit above Kebdah village, we had to stop the hike mainly due to terrain challenges and shortage of time.
I decided to use main trail but to approach the intended summit from right side, and planned this hike yesterday.
We indeed reached the intended summit of 1100 meters elevation with impressive views of RAK and Rams areas.
Our trail also touched the Highlander trail that starts at Wadi Litibah and ends at Haqeel.
This Hike is mainly 3 parts as per terrain.
1. Wadi X Canyon with its beautiful, white and polished boulders and waterways.
At places there are wire ropes installed to walk across.
In some places there are Anchors installed and you will need a rope of 10 meters minimum for safe climbing.
Still you need at least one bare hands climber to climb up safely and install ropes.
You can few pictures embedded.
This section can be avoided by hiking over the mountain surface too, you need to check out the path.
2. Mountain surface and abandoned village.
This section has usual loose rocks, fields etc.
3. Steep 70 degrees gradient hike / climb and all up steep hike till the summit with loose rocks too.
A hiking stick will be very useful while descent.
The best place to park the cars in bit away from the village of Kebdah.

Please don't block the area as it is a functional village.
Residents will not like if you trouble them.
Be prepared with all standard and additional hiking items and nutrition.
Being January we went with 4 Liters of water. In other months, you may need more.
Be safe, prepare well, Do not over estimate and enjoy your moments in the middle of nowhere.
Take back all your rubbish with you.
Do Not Try Any Mountain Hikes If You Do Not Understand The Mountain Terrains, Dangers From Wildlife, First Aid, Hydration And Snacks, Your Own Fitness, Remote Activity Preparations, Communication Tools, Mountain Geography, Topography, Risk Factors, HSE Requirements, Hiking Risks, Fitness Level Of The Group Members.
Study All Above Matters Well Before Following Any Trails That You Find Online. Please Do Not Over Estimate Yourself.
Better Be Safe Than Put Yourself / Group In Danger And Regret Later.
Lately We Have Seen A Lot Of Unwanted Hiking Incidents That Could Have Been Avoided With Better Preparation.
Wish You All The Best.
