Itinerary description
A really excellent circular day walk with everything. It starts up the old road with views of Zakros Gorge, then it is an easy walk through the Olive Groves to an amazing Minoan site that no one visits followed by an incredibly tough transit of the upper gorge - there is no path so you should be experienced in making your own path. Finally a wonderful section of the coast path.
