Itinerary description
In Katlanovo near Skopje (20 km) is a spa from ancient times. This is a trail to one of the few thermal springs - temperature approx. 40 degrees centigrade. It is intereseting because water source is in a rock - forming small chamber.
It is very near the parking lot of the spa object - about 450 meters and it easy accesible,
Water contains mostly sodium, calcium, chlorine, sulphates and hydrocarbons. In the spa, many types of rheumatic diseases, diseases of the genitals, kidneys and urinary tract, nerve, skin and respiratory diseases are treated with success. The bath was intensively used by the Romans, and then by the Turks
