Itinerary description

Η κυκλική διαδρομή ξεκινά από τον Ξενώνα του Κατάφυτου και ανηφορίζει το καλντερίμι προς την βορειοανατολική άκρη του χωριού. Συνεχίζει χωματόδρομος και στην συνέχεια μονοπάτι που μας οδηγεί στο καλά κρυμμένο και πανέμοροφο εξωκκλήσι της Παναγίας με χώρο αναψυχής και νερό. Ακολουθούμε το μονοπάτι και αφού περάσουμε το ρέμα συναντάμε δασικό δρόμο που θα μας οδηγήσει στον χωματόδρομο και στη διασταύρωση με το μονοπάτι προς τον Προφήτη Ηλία. Αφού επισκεφτούμε το Εξωκκλήσι του Προφήτη Ηλία επιστρέφουμε από το ίδιο μονοπάτι και ακολουθούμε τον χωματόδρομο που μας οδηγεί στο χωριό. Λίγο πριν θα συναντήσουμε τον χώρο αναψυχής "ΑΝΑΛΤΑ", με πηγή νερού και ψησταριά, έχοντας θέα το χωριό και το πανέμορφο δάσος του.

Our loop route starts from the guesthouse of Katafyto and goes up the cobblestones towards the north-eastern edge of the village. A forest road continues and then a path that leads us to the well-hidden and magnificent little church of Panagia (Holly Mother) with a rest area and water. We follow the path and after crossing the little stream we meet a forest road that will lead us to bigger road and to the intersection with the path to Profitis Elias. After visiting the church of Profitis Elias, we return by the same path and follow the off road that leads us to the village. Just before the end, we will meet the rest area "ANALTA", with a water spring and grill place, overlooking the village and its beautiful forest.

Αρχή της διαδρομής - Start of our route

Εκκίνηση από τον ξενώνα, στην πλατεία του χωριού. Ανηφορίζουμε το καλντερίμι προς τη βορινή πλευρά του χωριού. Start from the guesthouse, in the village square. We go up the cobblestones road towards the northern side of the village.

Τέλος χωριού - End of village

Φθάνουμε στα τελευταία σπίτια του χωριού, στη βορειο-ανατολική πλευρά και ακολουθούμε τον δασικό δρόμο. We reach the last houses of the village, on the north-eastern side and follow the forest road.

Διασταύρωση - Intersection

Ακολουθούμε αριστερά το μικρό ανηφορικό μονοπάτι. We follow the small uphill path to the left.

Χώρος Αναψυχής λίγο πριν το χωριό, με θέα το πανέμοροφο δάσος. Διαθέτει πηγή νερού, παγκάκια και χώρο ψησίματος. Rest area just before the village, with a view of the magnificent forest. It has a fountain, benches and a grilling area.
