Itinerary description
The first part of the trail is showing height jump that is not real (technical issue) - it is actually a gradual descent.
We parked the car next to the great monastery and, after visiting the monastery itself, took a path that was done by others but taking it in the reverse direction. We started going down gradually in the direction against the clock until reaching back Kastraki. This is where we split and some of us completed the round, going up in the nicely paved but steep path up back to the monastery.
