Itinerary description

A short hike from St. Athanasios Park to Karperó with nice views of the Aliakmonas river and it’s valley below.

The park is an almost flat area where you can park and stay for the night. So the hike starts just in front of your doorstep.

First we walk to the several viewpoints at the end of the park, then it’s steep downhill. From here we go up and along some farmlands downwards again we cross a gravel road which we follow all the way to Kaperó. Then it’s back to the park again..
