Itinerary description

From Karanovac, take the forest train to Ostravica. In that part, there are no significant deviations from the trail, and it is marked with local markings, so it is easy to move. In front of the very top of Ostravica, it turns sharply to the left (towards the northeast) and climbs a bit steeper than before.
From Ostravica, it starts on a macadam forest road to Veliki Brijeg, and in front of it it separates from that better road uphill to the right (north). On Veliki Brijeg there is a lookout-checkpoint that is worth visiting.
After Veliki Brijeg, the trail turns to the right (to the north), for a short time it is provided by a narrow forest footpath, then by a worse macadam road, in order to connect with the asphalt road.
While driving on the asphalt road, you pass a fallow deer farm (on the right side).
After the farm, this trail leads to a macadam road that takes you back to the starting point. If desired, you can continue on the asphalt road to the north, and then separate by train to Gostilj.
