Easy to follow
Scenery

It is the same route as in the excellent German guidebook ("Terskej-Alatau-Traverse", by Kai Tschersich -- google it to find some nice German reports). The GPS trail is not very detailed, but fully sufficient to find the way. If in doubt, supply yourself with some of the many other GPS trails which have some parts in common and which are more detailed.
We took 10 days, can probably be done in 8-9 if you are fast or use 4WD transport from Altyn Arashan to Ak-Suu at the end.
