Itinerary description
This hike starts at the National Park entrance. To get there, take a taxi for around 150 som or Minibus 101 for 10 som. A taxi will go to the National Park entrance. The Bus will go to the beginning of Karakol Gorge.
The hike follows a road through the valley. It passes through a small village. Just stay on the main road which follows the river and then crosses it once at about 4 miles / 6.5 kms from the entrance.
The road continues to where the trail splits at map location 42.315118, 78.471237. At that point going east leads to Ala Kul lake. The Ayu-Tor Ryce Camp Site is also located near there.
