Lovely views, stunning wild flowers, and one of those walks where you dream about a cold beer at the end.
We needed to use the GPS on the app a lot to identify parts of the route where there was no obvious path. Many of the paths do not show on my other map apps.
Some paths so minor or paths joined by crossing scrub, that we were amazed the author created the route.
There were some sections where you needed to use your hands for balance, so we felt this walk was harder than moderate.
The river crossings may mean wet feet after heavy rain. One section, towards the end, follows the river. However, there is a stock fence across and up the banks. We nearly turned back to find an alternative path behind a livestock shed. One of our group spotted one fence section on the far bank. that we could partly undo and climb through, but I don't think many people would find this.
We all said how much we felt we had enjoyed the walk as we compared scratches (shorts not recommended!). A sense of achievement. Due to some rough terrain and time taken to find the route, we were a lot slower than anticipated and were an hour and a half late for our beer rendezvous.
