New constructed, destructive road

This area of great landscape beauty destroyed by the Municipality of Methana under its mayor Christos Pallis from 2000. The area was destroyed by road constructions supported (???) by Europaean Community. It is sad that the local politicians belive that they can have tourism only if the have enough roads to all places of sightseeing. Alternative ways of tourism are not in their mind. Until 2000 there was a beautyful walking path to the historic volcano of Kameni Hora. It is one of the most beautyful areas not only on Methana but in Greece.
