Itinerary description

Starting in the direction of the water reservoir, passing some kind of "Military Gate" with an asking "Mingalaba" and got a "Ok Ok"-answer. After leaving the town the way is nice and mostly through the forest. After the viewpoint the detour (4k) wasn't worth it and leads back to one crossing. After this, for about 4k walking on dusty road -> pay attention to leave the road to the right when it turns left.

Thank you. This tour helped me to find the fascinating reservoir (deep forest) and the beautiful tea plantages.

Espectacular ruta por los alrededores de kalaw. Ideal para un día de tracking.

Thank you so much! The instructions and map were really helpful and the walk spectacular and varied. We got a little lost on the 'extra' loop near the viewpoint, but easy enough and fun to find our way back in track.

It is a nice route indeed. Done it in 2019 december, and parts of it in April 2022. The latter was partially, because some areas have become off-limits for most people.
