Itinerary description

Yesterday I stayed all day in the camp, recovering from altitude sickness. The other comrades went out to some lakes. In the afternoon the comrades who were still in the Austrian Hut arrived and we celebrated. Today we descend to the exit of Mount Kenya National Park at the Naro Moru gate, at the Met Station. Tomorrow night we will take the flight back to Barcelona. The descent is long, sometimes a bit losing. Little by little the Lobelies and Dendrosenecios, the typical tall plants of Mount Kenya, are left behind and the trees begin and the bamboo below. We arrive happily at the Naro Moru gate where, after eating and watching, beer !, we take the taxis that will take us to a lodge where we can shower, dine and sleep in a bed.
