Itinerary description
From the end of the Hilina Pali Road this trail goes down the Hilina Pali (cliff) to the Ka'aha camping area on the coast, a total descent of 2300 ft, hereof 1400 ft on the first 1½ miles. The cliff has been formed by an enormous landslide, called the Hilina Slump, that is still ongoing (see Wikipedia). Click "View more" to see more photos from this hike.
