Itinerary description
Easy, though a bit steep, to Hochwacht, challenging and tiring from there to Baden, often balancing on shale rock. Total walking time about 6 hours.
Not recommended for small children and people who are not sure-footed. Not good in wet weather.
(Note: This route deviates from the official Jura Mountains Trail which by-passes the most difficult sections. To follow it, turn right at the fork about 3.5 km after Hochwacht. This will take you along a pleasant forest trail before rejoining the earlier trail right before Baden.)
