Itinerary description
We did this hike with a paid tour from Palenque, which we only took due to lack of marked trails in the area. We wanted to change that - here is the trail.
The trail is easily makeable without a guide and leads to some ruins and a pretty impressive waterfall which offers the possibility to swim and climb.
When you follow the trail check your GPS in main intersections because we sometimes did not take the most obvious trail. Probably all lead to the ruins but it can get confusing sometimes.
Enjoy the hike and keep on marking Mexicos beautiful trails, so all can enjoy this beautiful nature independently.
