Itinerary description

A 14km out and back trek along the west side of Junction Creek. To access the trailhead you must first wade across Sheep River, one of two stream crossings required on route. First half of the trail is like an ATV track but eventually narrows to a tree-rooted footpath. A number of smaller waterfalls are encountered along the way however your ultimate reward is a four step waterfall found slightly upstream on a tributary feeding into Junction Creek.

A beautiful little waterfall located slightly downstream on the same tributary as Three Step Falls.

A little waterfall located 200m downstream from Three Step Falls.

Junction Creek Falls

Located at the base of a tributary that empties into Junction Creek this waterfall would be better appreciated at higher water levels than shown in photos.

To access the trailhead you need to first cross Sheep River, a pair of water shoes will come in handy for this and a second crossing further along the trail.
