Itinerary description
3 to 4 hours. The trail here is comparatively easy, with occasional exposed scrambles across the rock. The first good water is a thin waterfall after about 2 hours. There are several campsites called Bardumal along a 2 km stretch of sandy river beach scattered with thorn bushes and tamarisk. But at one place campsite is available with flat prepared ground and fresh water stream along with a porter hut. The altitude is about 3200m.Just beyound Bardumal at Phurblock is a grave of a young porter who died in 1987,where earlier the porters used to stop and pray.Nearby is a large cave, providing good shelter for the porters in bad weather.
