მარშრუტის აღწერა
მარშრუტი ერთმანეთთან აკავშირებს პანკისის ხეობის ორ სოფელს, ჯოყოლოს და დუისს.
მარშრუტიდან საინტერესო ხედები იშლება პანკისის სოფლებზე და ხეობის სტუმრებს მარტივი, ხანმოკლე გასეირნების საშუალებას აძლევს.
სოფ. ჯოყოლოდან მარშრუტი თავდაპირველად გრუნტის სამანქანო გზას მიუყვება, შემდეგ მცირე აღმართზე ადის და ხეობის დასავლეთით მდებარე - ბალთაგორის კოშკთან მიდის, რომელიც მარშრუტის პირველი ღირსშესანიშნაობაა. ეს საგუშაგო კოშკი XVI საუკუნეშია აგებული და სამსართულიანი ყოფილა. აქედან შესანიშნავად მოჩანს პანკისის ხეობა და მისი სოფლები. ბალთაგორის კოშკიდან მარშრუტი დაბლა ეშვება, ვრცელ მინდვრებს გაივლის და ამფითეატრთან მიდის, რომელიც მეორე მსოფლიო ომში დაღუპულთა პატივსაცემად არის აგებული. ამფითეატრიდან მარშრუტი სოფ. დუისში ეშვება.
Description of the route
The trail connects two villages of Pankisi Gorge, village Jokolo and Duisi.
The trail offers interesting panoramas over the villages of Pankisi Gorge and gives to its visitors an opportunity to have a short and easy hike.
The trail starts in village Jokolo and follows the dirt road in the beginning, then starts to ascend and reaches the first sight of the trail - Baltagori Tower, located on the west of the gorge. This watchtower belongs to the XVI century and used to have three floors. From the tower, the trail starts to descend, goes through wide fields and gets to the amphitheater, which was built to commemorate victims of World War 2. From the amphitheater, the trail goes down and finishes in village Duisi.
