Itinerary description

Day 6, Part 2.
Super tiring part. Huge ascend with no path, then smaller ascends and descends on the ridge. We traverresed the final ridge considering it to tricky for the end of the day and it seems a good idea. Advisable to camp at the Khalotana pass, further no good place to stay for a while. Most of the descend from Khalotana goes through bushes (but with a path).

Waypoints

JO Anatoris. P

A bit hard to actually decide where the pass is. But somwhere here.

PictographCampsite Altitude 0 ft

JO camp Khal

First more or less decent place to camp after Khalotana pass (if not near the pass). No good water source nearby!! River not accessible easily.

PictographWaypoint Altitude 0 ft

JO from

Better path probably starts here, with towers on the left hand and ascend gently towards them.

PictographWaypoint Altitude 0 ft

JO from2

Do not abandon the ridge!!! Even if it is filled with grass, sometimes chasm on the left hand. Ridge is OK.

JO from3

While walking something like huge plateau (huge peak at your right hand) stay at its left side. After it finishes, more or less at this waypoint, you will have to traverse the slope. Do it at low height, like continuing the line of the left side of the plateau. Traversing the slope upper will be more diffucult, it is pretty steep and stony and you will probably descend anyway.

JO Khalotana P

The pass is very wide. We marked its end which is good point to start descending. Camp near the pass or then after some hours (no good places in between). Try to traverse the final ridge to the left from it, like the trail goes.

JO Lucia Peak

Lucia Peak. End of the main ascend. Beautiful views. Now ridge goes rather horizontally. GSM range present.

PictographWaypoint Altitude 0 ft

JO red begins?

Probably red planned trail begins somwhere here, depends on the map. In our opinion better way is to ascend to the towers from the "JO from" waypoint.

PictographWaypoint Altitude 0 ft

JO red+green

Two trails (red and green) cross here, theoretically. There is no path for red though and no marking for none of them. From now on follow the path up the mountain.

PictographIntersection Altitude 0 ft

JO red-green

Trails theoritcally separate (no path for red). Path (green) goes straight ,and you go left with the ridge.

PictographWaypoint Altitude 0 ft

JO to

This waypoint is placed more-or-less. You have to reach the towers, and than go to Lucia Peak with ridge
