Itinerary description

Day 8.
From Akhieli to Roshka through Roshkhagele pass. Ascend is nice, black unmarked trail has a good path. After Roshkagele the trail and path are destroyed by a norma road they built. Either walk the road and add some km or try to shortcut - there is no clear path (like us). Overall it has some ascend, but not tiring, descend is in little bush if shortcutting.

Pretty nice camping place after Akhieli. No good streams however, only river.

Not the best place, but better than Roshka. Water only from the river (no streams). If still have some energy - go to the campsite before Chaukhi Pass.

The place where we ate good chaczapuri for 3 GELs per one. The mobile number to the lady is on the green banner attached to the pole at the entrance to the Roshka (the entrance from the south).

We ate some good chaczapuri and people are nice, but the place is very messy. Definit. not nice place to stay, new road spoils the views even more.
