Golestan province has many waterfalls. One of these attractions is the Baran Kouh waterfall, and every year nature lovers travel to this province to enjoy many attractions, especially this beautiful waterfall.
Baran Kouh waterfall is one of the most beautiful natural landscapes of Golestan province and the sights of Gorgan, which is one of Iran's mossy waterfalls. This waterfall is located in Baran Kouh forest park of Golestan province and is one of the permanent waterfalls of Golestan in all four seasons of the year. This waterfall is due to the continuous dripping of tiny drops of mountain rainwater, which flow like rain from the top of the mossy rocks and create a beautiful view.
Koh Baran Gorgan waterfall is located in the geographical position E54.2144, N36.4202 in Golestan province. This beautiful waterfall is located in the heights of the Shatst Kala forest and near the Shatst Kala river. To reach this waterfall, you have to go from Gorgan to the Baran Koh forest park, a path of about 18 km in the west direction and reach the beginning of this beautiful and pristine park.
The path from Baran Kouh waterfall to the first river is black and rough, and it is better to travel by car; Because after the river, it takes two and a half to three hours on the black and stony road to reach the waterfall. Due to the long walking path, many tourists are discouraged from seeing the waterfall; But you should not miss the pristine path and the amazing views of Mount Baran. Rather, you should enjoy the visual and amazing attractions of the beautiful route to overcome the fatigue of the route. Passing this route is almost impossible for people with limited mobility, bone and foot problems
