Itinerary description
This trail starts from Vuthaj through the Ropojana Valley to Karaul Zastan. The destination of the first leg of the trail is a former military base(abandoned), the road is gravel paved for normal high cars. Once there most of the hikers camp at this location for the night.
Get up very early in the morning to start the trek. First part up to the lakes is a steep mono-path. Keep right at the villa, the road straight leads to Maja e Rosit. After reaching the lakes go around the Big Lake and follow the signs. Always keep left until reaching the pass overlooking Valbona. From there to the peak the trail is not for people afraid of heights.
