Itinerary description
The Archa-Tor pass is very difficult. It was super steep by the end (last km). I also had to ford a river at the Jety-Oguz valley.
There's a suspension cable footbridge (two cables and a box suspended where passengers can travel) river crossing close to the weather station. Be careful not to get your finger smashed between the cable and the pulley. I was alone to use it. With more than one person, it's easier to avoid incidents. You can avoid this river crossing at this point and continue on down. There's a bridge about 1 km down river.
The last 15 km of this hike were hard, because less interesting.

Buenas. Marshrutka hasta Jety-Oguz. Despues caminar e son bonitos. Se puede hacer con coche si lo quieres, pero son bonitos.

Hola! Hiciste esta ruta sola o con guía? Fue fácil seguir el sendero en todo el momento utilizando este mapa o el de Maps.me? Que tal la experiencia cruzando los ríos? Y por último, muchos problemas con perros en este tramo? 😁
Cerca del río donde se cruza con la polea "caja" había un perro asustadizo. Traté de encontrar otra forma de cruzar para evitar al perro, pero no pude. He esperado a que el perro pareciera estar lejos y cruzado. El paso de Archa Tor era muy empinado, pero factible. He hecho todo este camino sola.
Había un río que estaba muy alto cuando lo crucé y fue muy duro, ya que estaba sola y cansada. Soy una "viejecita" pequeña. Creo que a una persona joven le resultaría mucho más fácil.
