Dakota’s Pool. This is an ancient ghaut crossing point. We have named it after our dog who loved to cool off in the pool - swimming and drinking simultaneously!

Old plantation ruin. Name unknown and not on any maps. The cattle mill where the cane was crushed can be clearly seen. The pattern of stone in the gable end in the picture suggests it may have been built by French settlers. So, we have named it The French Ruin’!

A great place for a well earned after-hike breakfast! Home made yoghurt, fresh fruit, eggs, beans, bacon finished with home made marmalade with whole meal toast!
