Itinerary description

The first part of St. John to Sorel Point goes up to a small part always along the road (pedestrian walkway).
Then I walk a very nice section of the cliff path to Devil's Hole. Unfortunately, I could only guess the neighboring islands Guernsey and Sark; it was not a good view. But I have always had views of a great "cliff panorama": great crevices, interesting formations and caves.
Before Grève de Lecq it goes back to the street; at the end steeply down to the beach.
I walk above the beach to Le Catel Fort (guardhouse from the 18th century); but you can not go in and stand in front of a wall. I also look at the mill "Le Moulin de Lecq"; There is a very nice old pub here.

After 8 minutes I reach the cliff path; but soon it is on the pedestrian walkway at the street, to Sorel Point!

Devil's Hole bei Ebbe

Devil's Hole is a crevice where seawater foams in at high tide. It gurgles and then gurgles. This is best heard at half high tide. I was not quite there at this time and so the cave was not flooded yet.

In the former mill is a nice pub. The mill wheel is probably the largest in Jersey.
