Itinerary description
Hike to the 'sea of clouds' hill, North West of Jementah town.
For the first mile or so of this hike the road is tarmac. After this the road is mostly gravel.
If walking before sunrise, there are some street lights on the tarmac section. After this a torch will be required, because at this point it becomes pitch black.
The hike is quite easy for 90% of the hike, being mostly flat.
After that it starts to ascend, with the last few hundred metres being steep.

Is this route still available?
Hi,
I'm not sure if it's affected by the MCO.
However, the first 95% of the route is on public roads running through palm tree/rubber tree estates.
The last 5% which is the hill to climb is, so I understand, privately owned.
Though, the owner does allow you to climb it.
I hope that answers your question.
Wow thx for info!!!
Can use car for the trail?
Hi.
Yes, you can drive there.
If you look at the waypoint information I included, the "Direction 6" junction seems to have a flat area, on the right hand side.
There were a couple of cars parked there, when I went. And from here, it's only a few minutes walk to the hill.
There are a number of "no parking" areas, mostly the entrances to estates. So, you need to avoid these.
The roads seems to be okay to drive on in a 2WD. There are pot holes, and gravel, so best to take it carefully - don't rush.
I can't remember, but I think some parts were only wide enough for one car, so best to look out for traffic coming in the opposite direction.
I think that's it - hope you enjoy your walk there.
