Itinerary description
Hike up (and back down) to the old tower, named “Tor”, first across the old town, then through the gardens of the upper church, and along the old Illyrian paths across the fields with olive grooves and vineyards. The upper section is fairly steep and requires sensible shoes (not flip-flops), but it’s well marked with white and red signs.
Notice the trail is identical both ways, but the GPS coordinates differ somewhat, often by a few meters. Just stay on the trail, it’s well-visible all the way except when through the gardens of the upper church, but then it’s not hard to follow: walk along the Easter garden wall until reaching a closed metal gate—note it’s easier to hop over the wal onto a pile of rocks than over the gate.
