Itinerary description
The famous W4 route that starts from near the Sama Resort and leads all the way to the south summit of Jebel Shams.
organised by Arabian-FiTrekkers meetup group we started our hike at 7:40am and returned to the campsite by 6:30pm. The weather at this elevation stays bearable throughout the summer season.
We carried 6 litres water each and made some drop points on the way up to reduce the weight.
Rock here is very sharp, so sturdy boots and gloves are recommended.
