Day 8 - Stepanakert to Patara
Partially Marked Section, 17km, Easy
NOTE: Trail markers have been painted only where there were trees or rocks available, leaving large sections through fields or dirt roads unmarked. You cannot rely on trail markers! For the sections north of Stepanakert use printed topographic maps as an additional reference.
Starting in Stepanakert, at the statue of the city's namesake, Stepan Shahumyan, you head down one of the major boulevards, then start heading to the outskirts of the city, and out into the countryside. As you hike along the foothills and fields, you'll pass by a number of villages on this section. First Lernavan, followed by Aygestan, Dahrav, and then reaching Patara.
