Itinerary description
Jacob Hamblin Arch from water tanks parking lot.
The trail through the desert is easy to follow since there are many stones marking the path.
The descent to the canyon can be made without ropes, crawling down the steep rock using the cracks and layers of the stone, but as 5/2/2024 there was a rope installed for help.
Only used it as a backup in case of a false step since you should never trust ropes not installed by you.
The hike up the canyon to the desert was easier and I didn`t have to use the rope at all.
Bring good traction shoes.
