Itinerary description

Another beautiful hike through Jabal Moussa Nature Reserve.
I started at Nahr ed-Dahab entrance. I followed trail 8 (Shepherds Encounter) to Mar Geryes Monastery. From there I took trail 9 (Charme Houblon) to Yahchouch Cross. I then followed trail 6 (Hadrian’s Incline) to trail 2 (Qornet el Mzar) to reach the highest point in Jabal Moussa (with a beautiful 360 degrees view). From there I went back through trail 3 (El-byut stroll) by the old well to to trail 6. Finally I took trail 7 (Cerris) back to my car.
The whole loop is well blazed except for parts of trail 9. But there is a white electric wire with light bulbs running along the trail. So if you follow that wire you should be ok. In my case I started on the trail then headed straight towards the cross then followed the trail again.
