Easy to follow
Scenery
Moderate
The first 15km were very straightforward, with paved road and gravel / dirt tracks and only one very slow uphill incline. Pretty mountain scenery, with some beautiful gringo villas.
At 15km, there are 2km of stony river bed uphill, which was a little tedious. Then the toughest part, a 2km climb that was steep. The views were incredible, a really stunning route. Red paint marks point the way, got lost off trail a couple of times but my GPS watch helped me.
Moderate, rather than difficult.
