Itinerary description
Warmly recommended loop for all seasons. You can only get to Ives island, unless you sail or wade, when the gauge below the Bonneville Dam measures the river level as under 11' (https://waterdata.usgs.gov/nwis/uv?site_no=14128870). These low water levels normally only occur around October.
